PoreLab welcomes researcher Renaud Toussaint

It gives us great pleasure to announce Renaud Toussaint, University of Strasbourg, as a new member of the centre, where he will hold a researcher II position.

His background is originally on theoretical physics, with through the years interests shifting towards complex systems in earth science, and the addition of computational techniques and experimental work to his toolbox.  He studied at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon and at IPG Paris in maths, physics and geophysics, and later on did a PhD at the University of Rennes on theoretical aspects of fracture, three years of Postdoc in the complex group in Oslo and Trondheim, and joined CNRS in Strasbourg in 2004. He is also a Principal Investigator at FlowTrans ITN.
