Jingya Zhang who is doing the 3rd year of her PhD at the College of Geosciences, China University of Petroleum in Beijing, joined PoreLab Trondheim for one year. She arrived on September the 1st, 2018 and will be leaving in August 2019. Her office is located in the hall building together with other PhD students. She will be working with Ole Torsæter on the WP6 (Microfluidics and field studies). During her stay as a visiting student, she will be conducting research on characterization of pore structure of tight sandstones and study the impact of reservoir properties (especially pore-throat structure, permeability and wettability) on two-phase flow.
