Defence of Thesis 19th October: Chuangxin Lyu – Faculty of Engineering

Chuangxin Lyu has submitted the following academic thesis as a part of the doctoral work at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering:

Mechanical behavior of frozen saline clay: laboratory, field and numerical investigation

 

The Faculty has appointed the following Assessment Committee to assess the thesis:

– Associate Professor Pooneh Maghoul, University of Manitoba, Canada (2. Opponent)
– Professor Rao Martand Singh, NTNU (Administrator)
– Professor emeritus Lars Grande, NTNU (Co-Administrator)

Professor Rao Martand Singh and Professor emeritus Lars Grande, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, NTNU, have been appointed Administrators of the Committee.
The Committee recommends that the thesis is worthy of being publicly defended for the PhD degree.

The doctoral work has been carried out at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

The trial lecture will take place on 19th October at 12:00
on the following prescribed subject:

The public defence of the thesis takes place on 19th October at 13:00.
