2020 has seen a change in the structure of the PoreLab Journal Club. The Journal Club was an excellent instrument to keep up with the literature in research groups that do not span too widely. But PoreLab is now no longer a research group that does not span to widely. Hence, we decided that a common Journal Club for the entire PoreLab was no longer viable.
The new format – called Thursday’s talks – aims to promote internal speakers who are given the possibility to present their own activities or give a lecture. It is our goal that each PoreLab member should participate with at least one presentation during the course of the year. The Thursday’s talks take place once every two weeks.
The series are held simultaneously in Oslo and Trondheim.
