Edgar Javier Rueda is a Master Student from the University of Campinas, Brazil. Edgar arrived at PoreLab Trondheim on August 8th and will stay with us at PoreLab Trondheim until the end of October. Edgar holds a bachelor degree in Petroleum Engineering back in December 2015 from the Industrial University of Santander, Colombia. Currently, he is a full-time student of the Post-Graduation Program in Science and Petroleum Engineering at the School of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Campinas in Brazil. He started his master studies in August 2018. He is investigating polymer flooding through Carbonate and Sandstone porous media using Xanthan Gum solutions. Edgar will be working under WP6 (microfluidics and field studies) together with PhD candidate Salem Saeed Akarri and Professor Ole Torsæter.
